Packaging Optimization Initiative for OTOTROPIN® (Human Growth Hormone)

We would like to inform our customers, healthcare professionals, distributors, and partners of an important packaging update concerning OTOTROPIN® Human Growth Hormone (HGH).
Packaging Size Upgrade
As part of our continuous product optimization program, the formulation packaging of OTOTROPIN® has been upgraded from:
- 12 IU per vial to 20 IU per vial
As a result of this upgrade, the total potency per kit has been increased from 60 IU (12 IU × 5 Vials) to 100 IU (20 IU × 5 Vials), providing enhanced product value and convenience for users.
This enhancement allows improved convenience for users while maintaining the quality standards expected from Denik Pharm products.
Why Some Boxes Display Additional Labels
Prior to this packaging upgrade, Denik Pharm had already manufactured and printed a substantial inventory of outer cartons based on the previous packaging configuration.
Rather than destroying millions of perfectly usable cartons and producing entirely new packaging, we adopted a more environmentally responsible solution by applying official tamper-evident update labels to existing cartons, clearly displaying the revised product strength, dosage information, and vial content.
The updated labels have been strategically placed on the carton to ensure the correct information is visible to customers and healthcare professionals.
Our Commitment to Environmental Sustainability
Destroying millions of pre-manufactured cartons would have resulted in significant environmental waste.
Paper and carton manufacturing requires substantial natural resources, including:
- Large quantities of wood pulp obtained from trees.
- Significant water consumption during paper production.
- Electricity and fuel used in printing, cutting, folding, and packaging processes.
- Additional transportation and logistics emissions.
Industry estimates indicate that producing one metric ton of paper can require approximately 17 mature trees and substantial amounts of energy and water. Discarding millions of existing cartons would have generated unnecessary waste while providing no benefit to patients or product quality.
By utilizing existing packaging materials and updating them with official labels, Denik Pharm has prevented avoidable environmental impact and reduced unnecessary consumption of natural resources.

Clarification Regarding Existing Printed Information
Customers may notice that certain original printed information remains underneath or inside portions of the packaging. This is solely due to the environmentally responsible packaging transition described above.
The presence of any previous printed reference to 60 IU packaging does NOT indicate that the product contains 12 IU per vial.
The outer carton has been officially updated using Denik Pharm authorized labels to accurately reflect the current packaging specification.
Information Inside the Package
All internal product components, including:
- Vial labels
- Product identification labels
- Batch information
- Product inserts (where applicable)
have been updated to correctly display the current 20 IU per vial specification.
Final Reference for Product Potency
For absolute clarity:
Customers should rely on the vial label as the definitive reference regarding dosage and product specification.
